| Expressions In The Arts (E.I.T.A.) is an exciting creative collaboration presented by the talents, insight, motivation and energy of three women who found friendship and a common craving through their hand crafted arts. Their passion in each others creative field consumed their available moments with self-expression and joy and they longed for an inviting forum and worthwhile venue to celebrate with other inspiring and creative individuals in the arts & crafts community. It is through Expressions In The Arts, that each one of us may present our artistic endeavors and exhibit, teach and communicate our works of art with heart.. Expressions In The Arts continues to be a worthwhile venture and an interactive community that thrives on your contributed inspiration. During the first few months of 2004, E.I.T.A. hosted several artisan shows at The Casa Java in Cornwall and The Crafters Den in the village of Cornwall-on-Hudson. These intimate crafts shows were promising to become a regular monthly event, however, one venue closed and the other lost its spark and potential. As summer turned to fall, the motivation and energy behind The Artisan Market Shows continued down other creative paths. A connection still remains, however, through this on-line/off-line newsletter, THE ARTISAN ARTICLE. Until another inviting place of opportunity arises, I hope you enjoy reading this month's issue. |
